Freebie Trading Reviewed: Does It Work?

Out of all of the online income opportunities I have tried, freebie trading is the only one that has made me any real money so far.

The concept is really simple and starts like this:  You sign up at a freebie site (IFW) which is simply a site that runs lots of little advertisements for products and services, mostly free or low cost trials (Offers). You sign up for enough products or services to fulfill the requirements of the site (offer requirements), usually no more than two, and you get paid by someone like me (a freebie trader) much more than the cost of the the offers you chose to try. You make a profit.  When you complete the offer requirements, you are said to have “gone green.”

For example, on the easiest site I have, I would pay you $15 to complete the offer requirements. The site then would pay me $30 for having referred you. You can complete the offer requirements on this site for free or less than $5.

By completing the freebie site’s offer requirements, you become qualified to refer people there yourself via a special link that the site gives to you. (Your referral link.)  The site then will pay you for each person who signs up under your referral link and also completes the offer requirements.  You would typically pay people roughly half what the site pays you per referral.

Once you have enough sites that you have “gone green” on, you can simply refer others to complete the offers on them and collect cash from each one, over and over again, without having to complete offers again yourself, ever.

Sounds great, right? Well, there are some negatives to freebie trading as an income source, and the biggest one probably is that it is not a residual income generator. You constantly have to keep working to gain more referrals, otherwise you don’t get paid.

Another negative is the possibility of scammers who will cost you money either by not paying as agreed once you’ve gone green on their site, or if you’re on the other end, knowingly violate the terms of service of the freebie site and get placed on hold, after being paid by you. In that case, their referral will not count and you will not receive payment from the freebie site.
