Ok, so this will not be exactly an unbiased review because I got my start in the freebie trading industry at Free Lunch Room (FLR) and I love it there.
However, there are several objective reasons why FLR is a great place to come and trade:
1: The community support aspect is second to none. FLR is filled with helpful people and within seconds of you posting a question on the open forum, you’ll have several answers. When you are just starting out, this support can be invaluable to you. While freebie trading is not rocket science, it can be somewhat intimidating at first, and knowing that the answer to your questions or issues is but a mouse-click away is very important.
2: FLR has a very welcoming atmosphere. We welcome all traders, both new and old, and for veteran traders from other forums, there is no requirement that you reach a certain trader rating level before you can post a cash for greens thread.
3: The site admins and the moderation staff are friendly and will answer private messages promptly.
4: While there are many rules on the forum, they are designed to keep newer traders from being scammed. There are some who see the amount of rules as a negative, but all the rules are clearly defined and are there for a purpose.
5: The forum interface is very clean and user-friendly and intuitive. It is easy to find most things and the FLR admins are constantly tweaking it to make it easier to navigate.
The only negative about FLR is that it tends to be “top heavy” with method 2 traders, or traders paying for greens as opposed to greening for cash or method 1 traders. This means that the competition level for paying for greens is very high and it can make it somewhat more difficult for newer traders to transition from greening for cash to paying for greens. However, this is the case on all forums, even the newer ones, because many traders will sign up at the newer forums, looking for new places to gain referrals.
All in all, FLR is a great place to start trading and to continue trading. To sign up, go to www.freelunchroom.com .
