Article marketing makes use of keywords and search engine optimization (SEO) to enable anyone to get ranked on the first page of natural search engine results on Google and Yahoo.  It requires a little research into what people are searching for (keywords,) and it may take you more time when you’re first starting to write articles to get them written, but once you get the process down, it is possible to churn out articles very quickly. The articles you write should be between 250-700 words, so that’s not really very much writing at all,  and you don’t need to be a spectacular writer, either.

Advertising Idea #3: Twitter

You’d have to have been living under a rock if you haven’t heard of Twitter yet.  People are not only using Twitter to be social, they’re using it to advertise. If done correctly, Twitter alone can bring in massive surges of traffic to your website, and all for free.

When you first create your Twitter account, you need to start “following” people.  Look for people who are interested in your niche, whatever that is, and start following them. Pretty soon,  other folks will start following you, and every time you post a message with a link to your website, all of your followers will see your link, and some of them will follow through to your website. The result is a ton of traffic to your website…and it doesn’t cost a cent!
