The Free Lunch Room, a freebie trading forum owned and operated by Leo Schimizu, aka, Admin, has been undergoing a transformation since disassociating itself from Project Payday in early February 2009.
If you don’t know what freebie trading is all about and how to make money, I suggest grabbing this ebook, which explains in detail how it works
The Free Lunch Room was started in early 2007 and quickly rose in popularity and traffic. Part of FLR’s meteoric rise must be attributed to the fact that Project Payday was almost exclusively sending its traffic there. However, FLR still enjoys a high Alexa ranking, above the other freebie forums out there, and this is certainly a testament to the SEO and marketing skills of Leo Shimizu and his co-admin Gladiator (this is his forum handle, his real name is unknown.)
The latest changes include the following:
1: New color scheme and UI re-design. FLR has always been known for being extremely user-friendly, especially to the new user. The new UI is clean and very intuitive to use, with clearly marked site navigation buttons and a harmonious color scheme.
2: A comprehensive tutorial system for new users. This tutorial system goes into detail about how incentive marketing works and how money can be made on the forum. Users have been long awaiting this feature and it is probably the best change to date.
3: An integrated instant messenger chat system populated with users from the “friends” list.
4: New freebie sites and networks. Many of the older networks have been removed from FLR due to business reasons, but other sites have come in to replace them. New sites and networks means a more diverse set of offers and an easier way for new folks to get into freebie trading.
There are further changes to come. More will be posted when they are made. For now, please head on over to Free Lunch Room to see the changes for yourselves.
