ClickBank Pirate Review

Clickbank Pirate bills itself as a “plug and play” affiliate marketing system,  which means that a lot of the affiliate set up is handled by the program and all you need to do is send traffic to it and you can make money.

The Clickbank Pirate program offers the following:

  • Different Clickbank products to sell each month, all of them in the make money online niche.
  • Pre-fabricated squeeze pages attached to an autoresponder which is loaded with pre-written emails for creating an email list and following up with leads.
  • Hosting for the squeeze pages and a blog.
  • Pre-written blog posts, emails, and articles

Clickbank Pirate maintains the entire system for you and all that is necessary for you to do is drive traffic to the squeeze pages. The Clickbank Pirate staff takes care of the rest.

The price for the program is $47 for the basic system and $27 per month thereafter, or $97 for an upgraded system (offers you more affiliate products per month) and again, $27 a month thereafter.

Does the program work?

As with any other make money opportunity, some people have reported making sales with it and are very happy with it, while others are dissatisfied because they haven’t made the amount of money they believe they ought to have made, or it just didn’t work for them.

On its own merits, the program offers some advantages, particularly to new affiliate marketers, but also some disadvantages as well.

The Pros:

For the new affiliate marketer in particular, writing good content that converts well is a stumbling block and often results in the new affiliate being unable to make any money and giving up. Clickbank Pirate provides the content so that the new affiliate marketer  is able to make some money while learning the ropes of traffic generation.

Another positive is that the new affiliate does not need to worry about purchasing hosting or domain names. Most new affiliates don’t have a clue about hosting, don’t know how to create a blog or a webpage,  and, frankly, would rather not have to mess with that stuff. Clickbank Pirate offers a good solution for these folks.

The Cons

At the end of the day,  serious Internet marketing is about providing content and solutions to problems that people find useful.  The affiliates that are raking in big money know this well and it is one of the reasons they are able to make decent money online.

Because Clickbank Pirate provides the content, it doesn’t teach the new affiliate marketer how to do it for themselves. As such, it is more of a hindrance to new affliates’ future success.  To succeed as an affiliate, you do need to create your own beneficial content, you really do.

Furthermore, while not having to pay for hosting and worrying about domain names, etc. is nice,  it actually ends up being cheaper than paying the monthly fee for the Clickbank Pirate system.

Finally, the list you are building by sending traffic to the Clickbank Pirate squeeze pages does not belong to you. You are, in effect, renting that list, since once you cancel the program, you lose all rights that list, and you have zero control of it at any time.

Clickbank Pirate takes a lot of the hassles and concerns that people have about becoming affiliate marketers, but it also doesn’t help people learn the ropes . It is a decent program to get started in affiliate marketing with, but only for the first little while. After that, your best bet is to strike out on your own.
