CPA affiliates aren’t confined to making money just from the sales they generate. They are also able to make money from just the leads they generate, and as such marketing CPA affiliate offers is a lot easier than affiliate programs that only pay for actual sales.

However, this does not mean that a complete newbie to internet marketing is barred from CPA networks.  The only thing that you absolutely must have to join a CPA network is a website, even if all it is a free blog from blogger.com.  You need some sort of website because you need space to put up the CPA offers to drive traffic to.

You can also pre-empt a lot of CPA network rejections by a simple phone call.  You’ll probably end up talking over the phone to CPA network staff before you’re approved anyway, but if you call them you’ll put them more at ease with you, and make them more likely to approve you rather than reject you based on your inexperience.

Common questions that the CPA gatekeeper will ask you is how long you’ve been in internet marketing, how do you plan on marketing their offers,  how many unique visitors your site received per day or month, and do you offer incentives.

Of those questions,  the gatekeeper is mostly concerned with your marketing plan and whether or not you will offer incentives.  For these two questions you should answer PPC, and no, respectively.

The bottom line with getting accepted by CPA networks is that you put them at ease that you are a real person and that you will market their offers correctly.  That single phone call right after you apply can do both these things.
