Article marketing is not new; it has been around for as long as mass print has been around. Local newspapers who needed content to fill their pages would often use articles written by local businesses that contain useful information in exchange for publishing the name of the business along with the article. The newspaper would get free content in the business would get free advertising. Sound familiar?

Duplicate Content Penalty: Does It Exist?

Kmcgraw This question seems to always crop up on the Warrior Forum, usually in connection with publishing the same article to one’s blog and to a number of article directories.
Those who believe in the the duplicate content penalty will insist that you must “spin” your content to a certain percentage of uniqueness, in order to fool Google into picking it up as completely unique content and thereby avoiding the “duplicate content” penalty.
Internet Marketers: Why Do You Hide Your Intentions?
December 17th, 2009 Kmcgraw Ok, fellow IMers, why do you go to such lengths to conceal the fact that you’re running a for profit business? Why do you wax on and on about “valuable content” as a means to end in and of itself?
Face it, you provide content to get people to your site, where you hope that they will click on your affiliate links and buy what you’re selling. Last time I checked, there was nothing wrong with this. You are providing content that people are interested in, and along with that some services or products that they would probably be interested in as well.

October 19th, 2009 Kmcgraw So, I’m browsing through the Warrior Forum last night and I come across this post where the guy is complaining about getting his articles rejected for being too short. He says his article was 350 words, which is 100 words over the minimum of 250 words per EZA’s guidelines, but the comment on rejection was that the article needs to be longer. Another Warrior links to this blog entry on EZA’s blog in answer to the original poster as to why he is getting rejected, even though he is within the guidelines.
Article Marketing Sucks!
October 2nd, 2009 Kmcgraw Article marketing sucks…not! Ha ha! Got your attention, did I? Well, no, article marketing does not suck. In fact, article marketing is great and is one of the best ways to get traffic to your websites. I know that, and many other marketers know it, too, but instead of listing off a bunch of reasons why article marketing is so wonderful, I am going to tell my story and my experiences with it and you can decide for yourself.
