You’ve probably heard this before; in more traditional internet marketing speak it is usually referred to as "building relationships." Blog Commenting: You’re Doing It Wrong
I run two other blogs besides this one, and every day, I have to go through the comments that are left to moderate them. Out of every one salient and valid comment that gets left, ten others will be trash and get marked as spam.
Now, I am an online marketer and I understand that people want backlinks to their own websites and blogs. I push my stuff as well, so believe me, I understand. I give backlink juice where I can, but lately I’m being a lot less generous.
